When setting up your techOMS Portal, creating Roles will help you determine visibility and reach of users. Whenever a user is assigned to a Role, everything associated to it will be available for usage to the reach of the user permissions.
This article describes the steps and fields involved in the process.


To create a Role you will have to:
1. Click Roles under System Settings
2. Click Create to deploy the fields for creation
- Name: Complete the Role name (preferably SH_[name] for Shipper roles, or WH_[name] for Warehouses roles, e.g. SH_MyClient or WH_MyWarehouse)
- Description: Complete with a description of the Role
3. Press Save to apply the changes
