Using barcode scanners with the techShip Desktop Client [Information]

Barcode Scanners can interact with the techShip Desktop client to fill out the reference field and perform other actions if required and supported by the device.


Any barcode scanner is supported independently from its model or brand, as long as it's a scanner that emulates keyboard input.


 


The techShip Desktop Client application will interact with it as if it would be reading keystrokes from a keyboard.


To know how to set up your Scanners properly, please follow the instructions manual from the device manufacturer.
