Contextual Help (In-Place Articles & Tooltips) in techSHIP 2025 [Guide]

techSHIP 2025 now includes interactive contextual help elements, offered in two ways: tooltips and in-place articles. This provides you with instant information on what is being displayed and common uses, as well as relevant notes and warnings.

This article is divided into the following sections:

NOTE: As this feature is currently in development, more contextual help content is added every day. Your feedback is highly valued; you can suggest use cases to be added and tooltips to be deployed using our feedback portal.

I. TOOLTIPS

Whenever a tooltip is available, a help icon is displayed next to the field's label.

Hover over it to display its tooltip. Its content varies depending on the field and may include:

A. Name

B. Description: It may include the impact of different settings on this field, as well as any additional settings that must be configured for it to work as expected.

C. Notes & Warnings: May include links to related KB articles.

II. IN-PLACE ARTICLES

Whenever in-place articles are available, a help button is displayed in the top right corner.

Press it to open or close the right panel that contains the article. Its content varies depending on the displayed page and may include:

A. Main title: Describes the page content.

B. Brief introduction: Describes an overview of the page purpose.

C. Common use cases: Quick step-by-step guides you can follow to perform common procedures on this page.

D. Main Actions: Describes main actions for the current record.

E. Available Properties: Describes the page UI elements and their available actions whenever applicable.

F. Resources: An exhaustive list of linked KB articles related to the current page.
