How Does Partial Fulfillment/Receiving Work [Information]

Modified on Mon, 20 Jan at 3:36 PM

In real-world operations, complete order fulfillment or receiving isn't always possible in a single operation. To address this, techOMS offers Partial Fulfillment and Partial Receiving functionalities, providing the flexibility to process sales and purchase orders in stages.

Both features offer the following options to control order status updates:

  • Yes: Provides immediate feedback (Short Shipped or Short Received) after the first partial action, highlighting incomplete orders that may require follow-up.
  • No: The order status reflects Shipped or Received only when all shipments or receipts are complete.
