When processing orders through Purolator, you might come across the "1100238 Receiver Address is invalid. Shipping Error" error.
This issue is related to Address Validation, where at least one of the address fields has incorrect information.
Feel free to follow the step-by-step guide written below or the video guide, as you prefer:
To solve this issue you will have to:
1. Find the order through any of the possible ways (after Import Orders, Batches, Order History, etc) as it applies to the case
2. Click the edit button of the order you wish to change
3. Change the Address lines accordingly; if you need to validate the address, we suggest you validate the address through Purolator services, or Smarty Streets
An example would be 4140 Chem. de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine which could be invalid in that format, but valid as 4140 Côte-Sainte-Catherine
Note that depending on the case, you might also need to:
- Review the Bill to address whenever it applies through the Bill To tab
- Consider the maximum amount of characters that an address field supports; in case the address is too long in one line, you might need to split it using the additional address fields
4. Press Save to apply the changes
If the rest of the information in the order is correct, you will be able to process it.
