How to manage Warehouse Mappings [Step-by-Step guide]

When setting up a Sales Channel connection, you can add, clone, or remove techOMS Warehouse entity mappings to your External Warehouse entities. These mappings can be added to existing Sales Channels.


NOTE: Make sure that you are operating at the right Vendor/Warehouse beforehand.


To set up Warehouse Mappings:


1. Press Channels under Sales Channels.


2. Press the Name of the connection to access the setup.



3. Select Warehouse Mappings.


4. Press the action button according to the process you will follow:

  • Add: Adds a new, empty Warehouse Mapping.
  • Clone: Clones an already set up Warehouse Mapping, allowing to edit it.
  • Delete: Removes the Warehouse Mapping.

 

5. Select the techOMS Warehouse entity from the dropdown.


6. Complete the External Warehouse code value to associate with the Warehouse selected in Step 5.



NOTE: For supported Sales Channels, you will be able to filter sales orders based on their associated warehouse mapping (that is, the External Warehouse field). For a complete list of supported Sales Channels, refer to techOMS Sales Channels - Master List [Guides List].


7. Press Save to apply the changes.
