This guide explains how to add and configure a SpeedX Baseline Account.

A Baseline Carrier Account defines the default configuration required for the platform to communicate with the carrier and generate shipping labels. This setup is required before adding Client (Billing) Accounts and enabling shipping operations for this carrier.

Prerequisites

Before adding the Baseline Account, ensure the following prerequisites are completed:

SpeedX Onboarding Requirements and Configuration Guides [Information].
Follow the configuration steps as described in How to Add a Carrier Baseline Account [Step-by-Step guide] using the values provided below.

Carrier Tab

The Carrier tab contains the Baseline configuration used to identify the carrier account and define the default sender profile used during label generation. Fields in this view are grouped visually to distinguish mandatory (red-highlighted items) and optional (blue-highlighted items) carrier-specific settings.

AccountNumber: Identifies the SpeedX account used to establish the baseline connection. Enter the account number exactly as provided for the carrier account that will be used for shipping.

AccessKey: Stores the API key or token used to authenticate requests sent to SpeedX. Use the credential assigned to the account being configured.

PrinterDPI: Defines the printer resolution used when generating SpeedX labels. Select the DPI value that matches the label printer used in your operation.

Sender Name: Defines the contact name used in the default sender profile for the baseline account. This value is sent as part of the sender address information used for label generation.

Sender Company: Defines the company name for the default ship-from address used by the baseline account. This value is sent as part of the sender profile for label generation.

Address 1: Captures the primary street line for the default sender address associated with the baseline account.

Address 2: Captures secondary address information such as suite, unit, or floor when applicable.

City: Defines the city for the default sender address used by the baseline account.

State/Province: Defines the state or province for the sender address used by the baseline account.

Zip: Defines the postal code for the sender address used by the baseline account.

Country: Defines the country code for the default sender address used by the baseline account.

Save: After completing the carrier credentials and sender profile, save the baseline account so the configuration becomes available for Client (Billing) setup and label settings.

Labels Tab

Set Mode to one of the following values: [ZPL, PDF, PNG].

To enable settings —and before continuing—, press Save.

Finalizing the Setup
