How to Add a Day & Ross / Day & Ross LTL Baseline Account [Guide]

This guide explains how to add and configure a Day & Ross REST Baseline Account.


A Baseline Carrier Account defines the default configuration required for the platform to communicate with the carrier and generate shipping labels. This setup is required before adding Client (Billing) Accounts and enabling shipping operations for this carrier.

Prerequisites


Before adding the Baseline Account, ensure the following prerequisites are completed:


Carrier-Specific Instructions


Carrier Tab


The Carrier tab contains the Baseline configuration used to identify the Carrier account and define its operational behavior. Fields in this view are grouped visually to distinguish mandatory (red-highlighted items) and optional (blue-highlighted items) carrier-specific settings.



A

Email: Enter the Day & Ross account email used for carrier authentication. This value identifies the account in the carrier connection flow.

     

B

Password: Enter the password associated with the Day & Ross account email. This value is required to complete authentication.

     

C

Username: Enter the Day & Ross API username assigned to the account. This value is required for the carrier connection.

     

D

User Password: Enter the password associated with the API username. This field is required for authentication.

     

E

Client ID: Enter the Day & Ross Client ID assigned to the account. This value identifies the carrier account in API requests.

     

F

Pickup open time: Enter the earliest pickup availability time for the shipping location. Use this field to define the start of the pickup window sent to the carrier.

     

G

Pickup close time: Enter the latest pickup availability time for the shipping location. Use this field to define the end of the pickup window sent to the carrier.

     

H

Pickup ready hours: Enter the preparation time required before the shipment can be made available for pickup. Use this field when the location needs lead time before carrier arrival.

     

I

Weekends mode: Use this field to define how weekend pickup or delivery handling should be applied for the account. Configure it only when the carrier account and operational flow require weekend handling.

     

J

Sender company and address: Enter the default ship-from company name and address lines used by the Baseline account. These values define the carrier-side origin information used when the Billing account does not override the sender address.

     

K

Sender city, state/province, ZIP/postal code, and country: Enter the default origin location details for the Baseline account. These values are used as the ship-from location for carrier communication.

     

Sender phone and email: Enter the default sender contact details associated with the Baseline origin. These values are used as the carrier contact details for the ship-from location.

     

Labels Tab


Set Mode to one of the following values: [ZPL, PDF].
