Onboarding Requirements


Before configuring Whistl in techSHIP, gather the required credentials and verify the required account settings.


Information to be Provided


The following credentials and data points are mandatory to establish the connection. Ensure you have these items available before starting the setup:

     

DATA ELEMENTSOURCE (HOW TO OBTAIN)
API UsernameProvided by Whistl or the customer’s Whistl account representative.
API PasswordProvided by Whistl or the customer’s Whistl account representative.
Account NumberProvided by Whistl for the customer account.
Sender AddressConfirmed by the customer and used as the sender address for the carrier connection.

   

Settings to be Verified


The following account configurations must be validated to prevent errors during the connection setup or the shipping process:

Operational Constraints

  • Whistl is configured as a Small Parcel carrier.
  • Service code selection is configured at the Client (Billing) Account level.
  • Select [Use Order] in the Client (Billing) Account when the service should be selected at order level.
  • The full Service code list is not documented because available services may depend on the configured account and operational setup.
