How to Update the License Type (Subscription) [Step-by-step guide]

You can update an account's subscription license type to change its available features.


A Standard license includes access to sales order rules and purchase order rules. In contrast, a Basic license does not offer access to these functionalities, which results in a lower cost per transaction.


NOTEUpdating the license type can be done by the organization's owner only.


WARNING: Doing this will change your transaction fee and charges may incur. If you have any questions, please reach your techOMS representative or open a support ticket to share your concerns with us.


To update the subscription license type:


1. Deselect any currently selected account.


2. Click Organizations from the left menu under the System Configuration section.


3. Press Edit for the desired organization.


 

4. Press Edit for the desired account.



5. Set the desired license type from the License Type field:

  • Standard: To enable order rules functionalities. 
  • Basic (no rules): To disable order rules functionalities. 


NOTEIf you downgrade from Standard to Basic, your order rules will no longer be available. If you later upgrade back to Standard, your rules will be restored but remain disabled until manually enabled.


6. Press Save.



As a result, the selected license is immediately applied to the edited account.
