NOTE: This change will go into production the night of December 18th. We have included the below quick reference guide outlining the most commonly used tasks that have been impacted as a result of our move to include the Organizational structure. As part of our update, we will be migrating all users to the revised structure. Please take a moment to review the updated permissions and that your users correctly reflect your desired access.To simplify the setup and management of techOMS, we are introducing the Organization level to the structure. The Organization is the company that holds the contract with techOMS.
Within the Organization, Warehouses and Customer Accounts (Vendors, retailers, or brands) are nested, giving clear visibility to ownership, improving security, as well as simplifying the overall usability.
Users can exist at either:
- Organizational level, having access to all Accounts within the Organization
- Account level, giving access only to a specific Account assigned
Further limits and provisions have been added based on role type, governing user access and ability to make changes within each section.
