To use a Techdinamics Print Client, you must configure it with a valid API secret (also known as a Print client secret). This article provides a step-by-step guide to either generate a new API secret or retrieve an existing one.

For complete installation instructions, see How to install the Techdinamics Print Client - [Step-by-step guide]. To perform this procedure, you need to be a Portal Administrator.
WARNING: Handle API secrets securely. Avoid exposing them to unauthorized parties.
To generate an API secret:
1. Click Admin from the main menu.
2. Click My portal.


3. In the Print client secrets section, enter a description for the new API secret in the text field provided.
4. Press Add print client key.

5. Press Save.
WARNING: API secrets are displayed immediately after being generated but are not saved permanently until you press Save.
It may take up to 1 minute after creating new keys manually in the portal for them to be recognized by the print client.
To delete an API secret, press the trash can icon and press Save.
