Before describing the setup process, note that the DHL eCommerce is the commercial name of DHL Global Mail. DHL Global Mail is a different service from DHL Express.

When setting up a DHL eCommmerce (Global Mail) Carrier account, you will have to:
CARRIER SECTION
1. Access Maintenance and select Carriers
2. Click the Carrier for which you'll add the account to from the list
3. Click the Accounts tab
4. Click Add Account
5. In General Options set:
- Name -> DHL eCommerce - [Account number] (e.g. DHL eCommerce - 500000)
- Usage mode -> Production (if you will use it in production mode)
- Status -> Active
- Label mode -> ZPL
- SCAC -> Carrier/SCAC code you're using in the WMS
6. In Carrier Options set and Save:
REQUIRED
- Username - > API Username (NOT the DHL's portal username)
- Password - > API Password (NOT the DHL's portal password)
- Pickup account ID -> Pickup Partner Number
- DHL Client ID -> API Client ID
- Distribution Center -> Origin Distribution Center
Sender address info -> Warehouse induction address
NOTE: This is what you should expect when requesting this information from DHL:
OPTIONAL
- Rates client key/secret: If you require rates, complete the client rates key and secret (password) as provided by DHL
