How to Import Tracking Statuses via file [Step-by-step guide]

When using techTMS, you can mass update tracking statuses via file upload.

This method will help you update statuses like Created, Delivered, Canceled, among others to as many matching tracking numbers between your file and techTMS.


The tracking numbers used in the file must match with trackings already created in techTMS.


NOTE: Make sure that you are operating under the right environment beforehand.


To do it, you will have to:


1. Click Trackings


2. Click Import Statuses



techTMS will open a new tab, follow the steps there.


3. Press Download Template if you still don't have it to obtain the file; complete it with the information accordingly. For example, the following dataset would update two different tracking numbers with the status Delivered and Canceled respectively:

EventName
ABC123XYZ
9/5/2023 17:13
Delivered
Delivered
ABC456XYZ
9/5/2023 17:13
Canceled
Canceled

 


4. Click Select files and choose the file from your file browser


5. Press Import to push the file information



After the process is completed, techTMS will report on how many successful updates or errors were part of the process.
