How to Delete a Fulfillment Channel [Step-by-Step Guide]

You can delete a fulfillment channel to permanently stop all its operations.


WARNING: This action cannot be undone. If deleted by error, a new fulfillment channel must be created.

Deleting a fulfillment channel will:
  • Immediately stop all related activities (such as order, shipment, product, and inventory synchronization).
  • Delete all channel logs.
  • Keeall orders and shipments for historical data records.
  • Preserve all unfulfilled orders (draft, approved, fulfilling, and shot-shipped) as such.
  • Update the account's default warehouse to none (if the set one is associated with the deleted fulfillment channel).
  • Adjust inventory values on all the account's sales channels to reflect the changes.

This action requires special permissions. Refer to techOMS User permissions structure [Information] to verify your permissions.


NOTE: Before proceeding, associated outstanding shipments must be cancelled, and open receipts must be deleted.


To delete a fulfillment channel:


1. Select the desired account from the header switcher.


2. Click Channels from the left menu under the Fulfillment Channels section.


3. Click on the fulfillment channel name.



4. Press Delete.



5. Press OK.



As a result, the fulfillment channel is immediately deleted. All its orders will be preserved for your records.


If you need to reconnect to the deleted fulfillment channel, you have to set it up again by referring to How to Create a Fulfillment Channel [Step-by-step guide].
