How to Create a Sales Channel [Step-by-step guide]

To connect to a vendor's system, you must create a Sales Channel connection. This connection allows you to import Sales Orders, synchronize products, receive Sales Orders updates and stock updates.


NOTE: Make sure that you are operating at the right vendor/warehouse beforehand.



To create a Sales Channel:


1. Click Channels from the left menu under the Sales Channel section.


2. Press Create.


3. Select the channel creation option:

  • Create: To create a new stable sales channel.
  • Create (BETA): To create a new beta sales channel.


NOTE: Some sales channels are available only as beta. Beta versions are recommended as they have the latest features and improvements. For a complete list of available sales channels, refer to techOMS Sales Channels - Master List [Guides List].



4. Complete the following fields:

  • Application: Select the system you want to connect to (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.).
  • Name: Enter the Sales Channel's name.


NOTE: Depending on the selected Channel type, additional fields such as API keys or connection details might be required.


5. Press Registration to apply the changes.



6. In techOMS Sales Channels - Master List [Guides List], locate the system you are connecting to. Click the Setup Steps icon to continue with the Sales Channel setup.
