How to set up Warehouses and Fulfillment Channels for an Account [Step-by-step guide]

When configuring your techOMS Portal, you'll have to set up Warehouses for an Account.

This article describes how to do so. Take into account that as the process is completed, the Fulfillment Channel will be created as well.


NOTE: The Warehouse must be setup at the organizational level before it can be enabled for an account, as described in How to Add Warehouses to an Organization [Step-by-step guide]


To do so, you will have to:


1. Click Account


2. Select Warehouses


3. Make sure the Warehouse in question is Enabled, if not, check the Enabled box accordingly


4. Check Show WMS Credentials to access the WMS credentials panel


5. Verify that the credentials entered in this section, match the credentials used by your WMS


6. Press Save



At this point, techOMS will create the corresponding Fulfillment Channel.


Depending on the WMS System you are connecting to, you will have to complete the process by configuring the functionality details for it, as described in the following articles accordingly:
