How to Configure Order-Level Skydropx Settings [Guide]

This guide explains how to configure Skydropx-specific settings in the Carrier tab of an Order.


A Carrier tab configuration defines transaction-level behavior that applies only to the selected Order. These settings are enforced by the carrier and may vary depending on the selected service, shipment type, and accessorial configuration.

Prerequisites


Before configuring the Order's Carrier tab, ensure that:

  

Carrier-Specific Options


The Carrier tab contains the Skydropx-specific configuration used to define operational behavior for this Order. Fields in this view are grouped visually to distinguish mandatory (red-highlighted items) and optional (blue-highlighted items) carrier-specific settings.

Skydropx supports Small Parcel and LTL services through the SKYDROPX carrier code. The selected Service code determines the service type used by this Order.

Service code: Select the Skydropx service for this Order. The selected Service code determines whether the Order uses a Small Parcel or LTL service.

Package type: Select the package type for this Order.

C

Shipment Purpose: Optionally select the shipment purpose for this Order.

D

Contents Description: Optionally enter the contents description for this Order.

E

Insurance: Optionally enable this setting to request insurance for this Order.

F

Pickup instructions: Optionally enter pickup instructions for this Order.

G

Account #, Freight Payment Terms, Postal, and Country: Optionally enter freight billing information for this Order.
