A new feature added to Infoborders Community Management module is the ability to import LinkedIn contacts right from the organization page.  

Before you can start using this feature integration integration with LinkedIn server needs to be setup.

To enable linkedin integration, following things needs to be done:

  1. API Key needs to be registered (here -  https://www.linkedin.com/secure/developer, api key provided for free by linkedin). This key needs to be specified in configuration file.
  2. HUB admin needs to have profile on linkedin
  3. HUB admin after clicking on this button will need to login to linkedin and grant access to application to use profile data (contact list)
  4. After that, HUB admin will be able to import people information to module from contact list.
