Hard 120120 - The country associated with Shipper's ShipperNumber must be the same as the shipments Shipper's country

When attempting to generate labels through UPS, you might come across the "Hard 120120 - The country associated with Shipper's ShipperNumber must be the same as the shipments Shipper's country" error.

This issue indicates that the account being used (usually UPS) is not authorized for shipments from the specified outbound country. Although the UPS account number may be enabled "for every function," it might not be authorized to generate return labels for all outbound countries.

There are several solutions to this issue, depending on its source.

Please verify:

BASELINE ACCOUNT SETUP

If the account was set up or updated recently, and the Ship from address was changed, make sure that you haven't entered an invalid country or with an incorrect format:

1. Access Maintenance and select Carriers

2. Click the UPS Carrier profile under which the account was registered

3. Click the Accounts tab

4. Click Edit account on the account you are using as Baseline Account

6. Select the Carrier tab

7. Verify the Country field and correct/add the Country properly; note that the Country value must be the two character Country code

8. Press Save to apply the changes

BILLING ACCOUNT SETUP

If you overrode the Return Label Address, make sure that you haven't entered an invalid country or with an incorrect format:

1. Access Clients under the Maintenance menu

2. Click on the client related to the case

3. Edit the Billing Account for which you wish to verify the Return Ship From address

4. Select the Carrier Options tab

5. Verify the fields under Returns and correct/add the Country properly; note that the Country value must be the two character Country code

6. Press Save to apply the changes

REACH UPS SUPPORT

If none of these work, contact your UPS representative to verify if return labels are supported or active for that specific destination, since your account might not be enabled to ship from the country you're attempting to.
