How to configure Published Rate conditions for Markup Profiles [Step-by-Step guide]

Modified on Mon, 18 Nov at 9:54 AM

When setting up Markups, you might need to set conditions based on Published Rates for them to apply or not. This can be achievable by defining your Markup Profile as indicated in How to set up Markup Profiles [Step-by-Step guide] and using the Published Rate Total condition.

So, for example, in order to set up a 10% Markup on Ground services only when the Published Rate total is below 10 dollars, you would define it as such:

A) Select Ground as the Service Code

B) Define the Type as Markup

C) Set Markup% to 10

D) Set Condition to Published Rate Total < 10

E) Press Add to add the condition

To complete the process, press Save to apply the changes.

You may use this basic example and adapt it to the scenarios you need to cover, including fields not detailed such as start and end date if your rule and markup has expiration date, etc.
