When techOMS interacts with other systems, either Fulfillment or Sales channels, it must handle different modes and schemas with UOMs.
This article clarifies how techOMS works, and the types supported.
techOMS
techOMS stores millimeters and grams. Nevertheless, you can handle account UOM settings, which will be used for:
- Display on UI
- GET API requests
The exception to this are the Time & transit Sales Order rules, where techOMS always sends LBs to techSHIP.
PLUGINS & TYPES
techOMS plugins synchronize products, shipments and packages with dimensions and weight.
The task related to UOMs is products synchronizing only.
techOMS has 3 types of plugins:
