techOMS allows you to synchronize lot and serial numbers with your Warehouse Management System (WMS) and sales channels during purchase order creation, receipts, and shipments. This enhances product traceability and improves order fulfillment accuracy.
WARNING: Lot and serial number synchronization is available on supported fulfillment channels only. See techOMS Fulfillment Channels - Master List [Guides List] for a complete list of supported fulfillment channels.
To use this feature, Lot/Serial Number Pass-Through options must be enabled. Channel-specific limitations may apply. Refer to your specific WMS setup guide article in the Fulfillment Channels Knowledge Base folder for detailed configuration instructions and limitations documentation.

During the order lifecycle, lot and serial numbers are synchronized and available as follows:
A. Purchase orders
When a purchase order is created and while it is in "Draft" status, you can add lot and serial numbers. These are sent from purchase orders to the WMS.
B. Receipts
techOMS receives lot and serial numbers from the WMS for confirmed receipts and saves them in the corresponding receipt.
C. Shipments
techOMS receives lot and serial numbers from the WMS for shipped and closed orders and saves them in the corresponding shipment.
D. Sales channels
techOMS sends the shipped lot numbers to sales channels.
